A client wanted, on two occasions, product from an innovators affiliate which had a policy of non-export. BAP was able to convince the parties, through persuasive skill and diplomacy that compromise was possible. Written assurances were given to the innovator company that product would be re labelled in Europe and sent back to the country of origin. Clinical trial information was provided verifying that the trial was genuinely being conducted in that country. The affiliate company was able to verify the trial information by checking with the key opinion leaders in the country involved in the trial.
